importing from Nikon not on MacBook Pro

HI,

When i connect my Nikon D750 to Macbook pro 2019 and I want to import the pictures I can see the camera, but not the pictures. So I cannot import them.

Whem ik connect the same camera on Imac, i do see the camera and the pictures.

I use the same iOS. 

Can anyone help to solve my problem?

Which version of Mac OS?  (Catalina has been causing problems.)

 

Have you tried using a card reader instead of connecting the camera? 

In the long run, you will be happier with a card reader.
