Increase Exposure in Library mode, shortcut

Hello Everyone, 

 

I'm reaching out to the community and maybe to Lightroom developer as, I find that if would be of great use to have a keyboard shortcut to increase/decrease 1/3 exposure when in Library mode.

 

I find that in my initial selection when I go throughmy images, image by image, it would be of great use to just increase/decrease exposure quickly before actually doing any color edit..

 

I can do so in develop mode with the up / down arrow on the keyboard but going through images is much slower in develop mode.

 

Anyone who has a solution?

    @tom26606516m837  If you are a professional photographer, or edit thousands of images, then you money would be well spent on a Loupedeck+.  https://loupedeck.com/products/loupedeck-plus/

    In Library grid view, with the Loupedeck+, it is so easy to move in the grid with the arrow keys, and a single turn of the exposure knob does what you are asking. Or any of the other Basic tone adjustment knobs!

    I use one (no association with the company), and I am only an amateur, but i find a small job like a portrait shoot can be editied so much quicker.

      You can use the "Quick Develop" panel in Library.

      Yes I know that but I still need to use a mouse to get there, what I'm looking for is a keyboard shorcut to use the increase/decrease exposure from the Quick Develop panel

        To answer your comment  "(why prioritise that KBSC over equally useful increment/decrement White Balance, Tin, etc...)" because I think than when going through hundres of images that only need small exposures adjustment a KBSC would save so much time.

        So you think it would be possible to create a script that would allow me to do that?

        Unfortunately, doing that in Library is a little more involved, and I don't have an example script handy. If you're an experienced programmer, you could download the Lightroom Classic SDK from adobe.io and spend at least 6 hours learning enough Lua and the SDK :-< (It's a steep learning curver.)

         

        I think the LrSuperKeys plugin might do what you want, as might MIDI2LR even if you don't have a MIDI controller.
