Hi,

Just checking in to see what the general feeling is on updating lrc and mac. Im enjoying everything running smoothly on 12.5 with Mac OS Monterey 12.6, on my M1 Mackbook Pro, but I want to update eventually, thats as soon as I make my mind up on what screen to buy and connect it too. (Which has been going on for a while) Just worried, reading so many people compaining about when they update lately.

Im actually still doing most of my edits on my old 2015 imac using cc 2015.14. so when I do anything on my M1 with Lrc 12.6, it seems like an upgrade. Haha!

Don't do anything! I was smooth sailing since like September 12 with an oS update Apple released (after my people masking not working since the first week of April in either ACR or LRC) and Apple just released another big fix update like 2 nights ago and now THE ENTIRE MASKING TOOL in both ACR and LCR shuts down each program entirely.

I have Sonoma on my M1 and it all works fine (Ventura was fine too.) Sonoma has a bunch of optimizations over Monterey for Apple Silicon.

You should be able to run LrC 13 on your 2015 imac with Monterey.   Why did you not update it?

People who do not have any issues, do not post here to tell us that they don't have any issues. That's good, because if they did, then the posts from people who do have an issue would drown in the tsunami of 'No problems' posts.

It's never safe, there are always bugs. On the other hand, probably 99% of people update with no problems.
