Is there any way to rotate video in Lightroom 6?

I can't see to find a way, but it would be shocking to me if this basic functionality did not exist at this price point

    Apparently there is no way to do this in Lightroom, but Photoshop can do it, as well as Premiere Pro.  See here how to do it in Photoshop.

    I rotate it in Photoshop, then export it and then re-import it into Lightroom.  A pain, I know, but it's possible.  One thing - for some reason when you render it in PS, it messes with the exposure settings, which you can then fix in Lightroom.  You have to capture a frame of the video (which saves as a jpeg) and adjust it in the Develop module.  You can then sync settings from the jpeg to the video and it will update all the frames in the video with the same adjustments you made to the jpeg.

    No way to do, unfortunately -- the commands Photo > Rotate Left/Right are greyed out when videos are selected.

    In general, LR's support for video is very minimal, incomplete, and sometimes buggy.

    Thanks John.  I asked this in another thread... why does Adobe/Light Room not support this basic functionality?  Is there another product they want us to buy for basic video functionality?  Which one is that?

    I enjoy LR, but the advanced functionality it has for photos, juxtaposed against no support for videos and an annually escalating price increases + SAAS price increases... make this too advanced/expensive/cumbersome for the basic photo  management tool I use it for.  {this is a shout out to the Adobe fat cats reading the forums}

    I am not aware of these "annually escalating price increases". I have paid $79 for Lightroom 4, then $79 for Lightroom 5, and then $79 for Lightroom 6. That's no price increases in at least 5 years,

    Adobe doesn't regularly read this forum.
