Question

Keine Kopie nach Bearbeitung in photoshop

Hallo,

I would try to reset the preferences in Lightroom and/or Photoshop.

Lightroom:

https://www.lightroomqueen.com/how-do-i-reset-lightrooms-preferences/

It's recommended to backup your preferences before you reset the preferences to the default settings:

Photoshop:

Please backup your settings before resetting the preferences. You can check:

The settings are reset to the default values. Presets arr not deleted.

It's recommended to backup your preferences before you reset the preferences as dexribed in the linked documents.

You remember this incorrectly. If you close an image in Photoshop without saving it, then that discards all the edits you made on this image, regardless where this image comes from and what it originally was. In Lightroom you do not have to save your edits, in Photoshop you always have to do this.

Please describe step by step how you tried this. Lightroom should always recognise jpeg, tif and psd files, as these are universal file formats. If it does not recognise these files, then perhaps you somehow used the wrong file extension and did not really save as tif, jpeg or psd, but only named the file this way.

"Edit Copy with The Lightroom Adjustments" implies that you are sending an RGB file (JPG,TIF,PSD) file to Photoshop, so you must [SAVE] the file to apply the Ps edits and have it appear as changed in Lightroom.

"after I closed the image in Photoshop (without saving), the photoshopped copy was opened in Lightroom."

Lightroom will create the 'copy' (and a Lr preview) BEFORE it opens in Ps- so closing (without saving) will show the photo in LrC, but Ps edits will not be applied to the photo unless it is 'Saved'.

You have to save the changes in Photoshop by using the menu File - Save or the shortcut CTRL - S (Windows) or CMD - S (Mac).
