Keywords Set not being applied to Selected image

I have created several keyword sets, but selecting an image or images and clicking on the applicable keyword set in the dropdown does nothing.

AFAIK, keyword sets are not designed to add all these keywords in one click, so what you see is as expected. To use a keyword set, you select it and then click on those keywords in the set you want to add.

Thx. Unfortunately that doesn't solve it. When I click on the keyword set, the keywords shown that I can select do not belong in the set.

Is the name of the set now displayed? If so, the keywords below it should belong to that set. If not, then something is corrupted, perhaps the preferences. https://www.lightroomqueen.com/how-do-i-reset-lightrooms-preferences/
