Latest Update

I am using Lightroom Classic CC on a Mac, my version shows as 7.5 with Camera Raw 10.5.

My Creative Cloud Apps panel is not showing any updates, even if I click 'Check for updates'

I believe there is a new version available (which includes the new texture slider). I don't have the feature yet.

Photoshop CC is version 19.1.8 and I have seen Photoshop updates come through recently, so I believe it is up to date.

Can you advise what is the latest version of Lightroom Classic CC and how do I update to it please?

(I don't use the cloud-only version as I only work from one machine at home.)

Thank You.

Thanks everyone, My Mac is quite old and I don't know if it can run a later OS, If it can't, I guess I can't get the new Lightroom / PS either. I did actually try the download, it errors saying OS wasn't supported which confirms it.

Double check with Apple. They offer plenty of help.

Well, your PS as well as your LR are out of date. This might be an issue with your Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop Application.

And as you are at LR 7 something, you may have in fact a buggy version of that app (I say 7 something as opposed to 7.5 as I do not remember if that issue occurred earlier like at 7.2)

You might need to uninstall the Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop Application, just that one app, not PS or LR, etc. Download a fresh new copy, and reinstall.

Edit/ missed the OS version issue, yep that could foul things up

As I said in my original post, It's a Mac, not Windows. It is OSX 10.11.6 - El Capitan. I'll try the download link though.

Your El Capitan OS might be up to date. However, I don't believe it's compatible with the latest version Lightroom. Please refer to the published system requirements for Lightroom.

Sign out of the Adobe Creative Cloud application, then sign back in. You should then be able to get the updates.

Thanks, I have tried that, but still no luck unfortunately. I have also rebooted completely and checked for OS updates, but my OS is fully up to date.

Specifically, what is the version NUMBER of your Windows 10? Sometimes people state that they have the most current version and in fact the only way to be sure is to tell us the version number.

If it is Windows 10 version 1803, 1809 or 1903, then you are current. Otherwise, you're not.

Direct download of Lightroom Classic can be tried from the links at this web site: https://prodesigntools.com/adobe-cc-2019-direct-download-links.html
