Leica SL2 crashing after first frame with Lightroom Classic

I have the latest firmware for the Leica, Lightroom and Mac OS. Lighroom sees the thether straight away, i take one frame, it sees it, I can open it, then 30 seconds to a minute later it crashes. 

I've done all the obvious checking, this system worked flawlessly 2 weeks ago but as of 10 days ago it has crashed everytime I have tried to use it.
