Mac OS ventura 13.5.2
Lrc 12.5
photoshop 2024 25.0
camera raw 15.5
I understand there has been loads of discussion about this issue since the PS beta introduction, across-the-board Windows and mac.
But the bug is still there in the latest build of everything.
Select "edit in Adobe Photoshop 2024", The following happen randomly
- launched photoshop 2024, but nothing happens, the image didn't open
- A popup of editing options appears, only the last two options work as intended, the first option "edit a copy with lightroom adjustment" leads nowhere.
This level of ignorance is simply beyond my understanding.
When the 'link' between Lightroom Classic and Photoshop has issues, the first step is to try this:
Use the Adobe Creative Cloud Application to uninstall Photoshop. When asked, keep preferences! After this reinstall Photoshop again.
If this doesn't help the nest step is to reinstall both apps Lightroom and Photoshop. Please folloe the steps below:
1. Open the Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop Client and uninstall both Photoshop and Lightroom Classic. When asked, keep preferences!
2. Install Photo

@danielyang , You stated “- popup of editing options appears, only the last two options works as intended, the first options "a copy with lightroom adjustment" leads to no where.”.
What are the other two options in the pop-up?
Just a thought PS 25. is the first release of Photoshop 2024, The first release of Lightroom Classic for 2024 and Camera Raw Plugin for PS have not been released as yet. That would be LrC 13 and Camera Raw 16.

@danielyang , So you are editing a tiff, jpeg, PSD image? If so the Camera Raw version should not come into play. I am not at my home computer so not able the check.

Me too - Finally got it to work in the Beta version. Then upgraded to the latest and the issue reappeared. Select edit in Photoshop - Photoshop opens but the image never appears. - Close and save an image in Photoshop then have to sync the folder in Lightroom to see it back there !!!!!!!!!

If this doesn't help try the reinstallation with removing the preferences also.

Tried uninstalling and re-install Photoshop, and it did solve the issue. Thanks!
