Hello
I had lots of problem in the new version with my existing library lots of photos where missing after the upgrade , I'm on Mac what could be the cause ?
secon i see that the sliders are straight in the middle , compare to former version silders were all over the place without any edit , I'm using Nikon Z6II , is ther a new interpretation of the NEF files?
Addition to this concerning raws , with Nikon we can create and use custom picture contols , wich are settings kind of profiles . Why are these overwritten by Lr now ? It was not the case on previous version , or perhaps i did not see it well.
In my case custom curve and saturation adjustment in camera .
it's visible in the file preview in LR, it's reflected by the Nikon software also, but as soon as I display it or want to edit , it's replaced by something else .
What can be done ? can NCP file be added somewhere as preset ?

Are you sure that LrC upgraded the correct catalog and not an older one?
Using FINDER, locate the correct catalog (prior to upgrade) and double click on it

I used the latest one , it was V13 . As said super strange , i used lightroom since years it's the first time i had this behaviour

I have to agree with @GoldingD , that really sounds like it updated the wrong catalog, even if it was named v13. Perhaps do a search for lrcat files and see what's been modified most recently?

Hi I checked twice before posting here 😄
it's the right catalog.
mad said the behavior importing the f NEf file is different to .
before it look like it managed to read the custom camera profile , now it ignore it and replace it by neutre or std .. no idea about what can be wrong

I didn't have any similar problems (I didn't have any probelms at all) with my Nikon Z6II photos or any other photos when I upgraded to LrC 13.3. Maybe you should try upgrading the catalog again, this time double checking that you have the right catalog.

Now what i have onve i go in dev module ( without oucihng ) lightroom calculates changes the color and i get this on screen and at export

wihout touching anything Lightroom interpretes the color differently , in the past i didnt had the case or did not saw this using custom color profiles , they are embeded in the file , why this sudden behaviour

So, in the past, were you applying this Adobe Preset during Import:
Note that the preset in question is not a NIKON preset, not specific to a , but one of the Adobe default presets
And an additional inquiry. In LrC /preferences/presets/
what do you have for the Develop Camera RAW defaults:preferences

It's not a preset I select on the left it's a in camera profile and I import with camera settings . Same as my import screen .
therefore I'm super surprised

So, a Nikon Z6 II, I downloaded a sample RAW, as to see what camera matching profiles show up in LrC (v13.3), and these are what I see:
that is from the Profile Browser on the right side panel. These represent Adobe attempts at mimicking the in Camera Picture Controls. Note that "Camera Settings" is not one of them. These are basically Profile Presets. They differ from Develop Presets (over in the left side panel). Some confuse Develop presets with Profile presets.
Note that in Import, over on the right, when you use that Apply During Import panel, and you modify that Develop Settings box, you can select Develop Presets (just as the name of that box implies)
The settings that appear in that box, in that pull down, are those that appear in your Develop Presets Panel. Not the Profile Presets.
Now, that includes any user created presets, so you could create a develop preset, that apply's a Profile Preset if you desire, that should work.

i don't follow you exactly
but this is the parameter i use to import
technically everything that i setup in camera should be transposed in LR ,
so if I create a special profile in camera it should be reproduced wich is not the case
