Lightroom 14.1 and 14.1.1 lockup

I've had 4 attempts at uploading photos from an sd card (that has always worked) with 14.1 & 14.1.1
Lightroom keeps locking up part way through (at different stages) and crashing my PC. 
I have ample disk space etc.
I'm using windows 10.

Very frustrating ... any suggestions?

I understand your frustration, but you don't give us detailed informations about your environment and your issue.

What you're exact trying to do?

Do you get an error message? If yes, please post the message3 word-by-word.

What do you mean with "crashed my PC"? Lightroom don't crashes normally the whole PC. In this case it seems that ther could be a faulty hardware (like RMA module) or older or incompatible device driver.

Is your system up-to-date? Do you have installed all recent updates and patches for the operating system and the device drivers, especially the graphic driver. If you have a NVidia graphic card installed, make sure that you are using the recent Studio version of the driver, not the Game Ready version.

Please provide a copy of your 'System Info'. This can be get from the LrC Help > System Info menu item. There's a copy button in the System Info dialog. Press this button and paste the info into your next forum post.
