Lightroom 5 Watermarks
On Lightroom 5 the watermark is checked but not not show up on the photos

In the watermark drop down list, select "Edit Watermark". Then in the upper left corner of the edit dialog box, select the watermark that is not showing up on the exported image. Check that the opacity is not too low, and that the position is indeed on the photo; it is possible to position the watermark off the image which will result in it not showing up on the exported image. If there is still a problem, post a screenshot of that dialog box.
