Lightroom 6 crash during startup

The lightroom installed on my Win 10 worked well before, but it get the problem starting up today. The application always exit during the startup procedure several second after the main window is displayed but not ready for user operation yet.

I found the error log in Event Viewer below. The content is the same for each crash.

I tried uninstall and reinstall the application, but it didn't help. I also tried uninstall MSVCR and get it installed again together with LR, the problem still exists.

You've got LR 6.0 installed. Try installing the much newer 6.14, which you can download following these instructions:

Thank you so much for posting this. I was having the LR6 crash after splash screen issue and tried evry fix that was suggested but nothing worked.  I followed that above instructions and downloaded LR CC/6.14.  I installed it and it works perfectly now.
