Lightroom 6 won`t start

I used LR6 on a PC wich is now defect. I installed LR on a new PC, entered the Serial Number and it startet perfectly, I even could process images. The only thing was a message that said the serial number is activated on another device and had to be deactivated within 30 days in order to use it on the new device. I contacetd Adobe Support and they deactivated the old device. Now when I start LR6 there is no more message about the serial number, but LR closes itselves immediately after the splitscreen  was shown. I already deinstalled LR6 and reinstalled it with no success. Any ideas what else I can do?

Update to the latest version of Lightroom 6. You can download and install the 6.14 update from here. This might fix some compatibility issues with Windows 101.

Disable the graphics processor. Some users have reported that Lightroom 6 freezes or crashes when the graphics processor is enabled23. To disable it, you can either access the preferences menu (Edit > Preferences > Performance) and uncheck “Use Graphics Processor”, or manually edit the preferences file. To edit the preferences file, follow these steps2:
Close Lightroom.

Navigate to the preferences folder. The location of the folder depends on your operating system. For Windows 10, it is usually in C:\Users\[user name]\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Lightroom\Preferences\BeBallPlayers.

Open the file Lightroom 6 Preferences.agprefs with a text editor such as Notepad.

Find the line that says useAutoBahn = true,
Change it to useAutoBahn = false,
Save and close the file.
Restart Lightroom.

Uninstall and repair MS C++ redistributable packages. Some users have also reported that Lightroom 6 does not launch due to a missing or corrupted MSVCR120.dll file4. This file is part of the Microsoft Visual C++ redistributable packages that Lightroom 6 depends on. To fix this, you need to uninstall and reinstall the 2005, 2008, and 2010 versions of the packages, and repair the 2012, 2013, and 2015 versions.
