Lightroom Catalog open in another App

Sorry bit of a newbie

I can't get LrC to open because the catalog is in use somewhere that I have no idea where.

Only one PC, one mobile and a laptop, all logged out of LrC

With LrC closed go to the sub folder that contains your Catalog file (the Catalog file ends with the extension .lrcat (LRCAT). By default it will be in Pictures / My Pictures > Lightroom, check if there is a file with the same name as the Catalog but with the extension .lock ( .LOCK) this file will prevent the Catalog. Delete the lock file and nothing else, then double click on the Catalog file and LrC should boot and open with the Catalog.

The error message shows the name of the catalog.
