Hi there. I still have the same issue. I would love to update my mac since i can not run other apps on Mac OS Monterrey 12.6.8 anymore. And that is the only version Lightroom +/- works... i tried to contact adobe several times. same with apple. nobody helps.

Hi,
Seeing the same with Lightrom Classic 12.3 and 12.4 on a M2 Pro Macbook.

*** GPU Warning: GPU3 failed (previous) sanity test ***

Any Updates on this?
OS Version is: macOS Ventura 13.4 (was 13.3 when error showed up)

Thanks

Welcome to the Lightroom Community @stevep29976993. I'll help you figure this out.

Do you see Lightroom Classic in the Activity Monitor? Where is the catalog stored at the moment? In the internal drive or the external drive?

Try these steps to get Lightroom to launch:

  • Reset Lightroom Classic following the second (manual) method from this article: https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom-classic/help/setting-preferences-lightroom.html
  • Press the OPT  when launching Lightroom Classic & choose the option to create a new catalog and create a new one on the internal drive.

  • If the above step does not launch Lightroom Classic, go to the following location to launch Photoshop via the terminal.
In Finder > Application Folder > Lightroom Classic > Right-click on Lightroom.app > Show Package Contents > Contents > macOS > Lightroom - double click to open.

Let us know how it goes. Thanks!

Hi, I also have recently discovered exactly the same issue as you. Did you manage to fix this? Thanks
