Lightroom Classic 14.0.1 crashes when I try to open videos. This was not previously an issue. Upgraded my Mac to Sequoia 15.1 to see if it would help, but still having the same problem.

Hi - has anyone found a fix yet?

I'm having the exact same issue, version 14.4. I cannot view any videos; if I try, Lightroom crashes. I've not found a fix. Something happened with the version 14 rollout. I've submitted numerous reports. Adobe must be getting a ton of reports on this issue. I'm surprised there isn't a fix for this yet.

Unfortunately, despite spending a substantial amount of time on the issue the only way I was ever able to resolve the issue was to buy a new computer with more memory. To my knowledge Adobe has never proveded a workable fix, but I would love to be proved wrong! Good Luck!

Sigh. That's what I was afraid of, that it's a memory issue. Strange that it wasn't an issue with earlier versions of Lightroom. Thanks.

We’ve reviewed the email address you use with this forum and find no crash reports in our system.

Did you see a crash dialog?

Do you use a different email address when filling out the crash report?

Was the crash dialog Adobe’s? Apple’s?
