Question

Lightroom classic 14.5 not working on my computers

Hello,
I am unable to launch the new version on lightroom on all my computers.
I tried clean desinstallation and reinstallation and many other things like switch off the GPU support  but nothing works.

The only thing working is to put back the 14.4 version or above. Do you have an idea of the problem ?

Thank you by advance for your time.

""NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070" driverDate="20250815000000.000000-000" driverVersion="32.0.15.8108""

That graphics driver (581.08) is a Game Ready driver, which doesn't get as much testing with creative apps like LR. Install the most recent Studio driver (580.97), which Nvidia and Adobe recommend for LR:

https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/drivers/details/252609/

Adobe is continually improving how it uses the GPU from release to release, and it might be that new code in LR 14.5 is tripping over a driver bug that doesn't affect LR 14.4.

Thank you for your help.

I updated the drivers but Infortunatly it did not works.

My computers are using very differents configurations (one is Nvidea and one is Amd) but the same issue occurs.
Both of my computers are running using windows in Japanese by the way.

Thanks for sharing the updates, @Yosomono. One of the Crash logs shows that your machine also has an integrated Intel GPU adapter.

Try this:

First, update Lightroom Classic to v14.5.1 via the Creative Cloud desktop app.

Second, update the GPU drivers for the Intel graphics adapter via the Intel Driver Assistant (https://adobe.ly/3HSgdWT).

After updating the drivers, on Windows, the GPU info & Logs location is %APPDATA%\Adobe\CameraRaw. A shortcut to get to this folder on Windows is:

  • Press the Windows + R
  • Enter %APPDATA%\Adobe\CameraRaw

  • Rename the GPU & Logs folder in this directory by adding .old at the end. (GPU.old & Logs.old)
  • Restart Lightroom Classic, which should capture the updated driver & hardware capabilities.

Here are other steps you can try for GPU-related issues in Lightroom Classic: https://adobe.ly/4bjWOa9

Let me know how it goes. Thanks!
