Lightroom Classic and Photoshop / Flash

Dear community,
I have a problem when I photograph with my camera (fujifilm XT2) including flash (godox AD400pro).
When I load my photos in RAW in LrC or Photoshop and I click on develop, the flash disappears. I can't
edit my photos properly this way. Could you please help me as I have no idea what it could be.
I have attached a video for clarification. Many greetings
Sophie Kerkhof

You are using embedded jpg previews from the camera (ingesloten voorvertoning).

These previews contain any camera settings you chosen. For this shot you seem to have chosen a setting that brightens the image. These settings are also written to the raw files, but LrC doesn't understand them and ignores them.

When you click Develop, LrC renders its own preview from the raw file, and this is how you exposed the image.

The embedded preview (and the image you see in the camera) leads you to believe that you have exposed the image correctly, when in reality, it is underexposed.

I recommend that you cancel/reset/zero out any camera settings, which will make a much better match between what you see in the camera and the image rendered by LrC.

I also recommend not using embedded previews, but let LrC build its own Library previews on import.

You control this under File handling on the right hand side of the import dialog.

Set Build previews to anything but Embedded & Sidecar. Standard works well for most people.

Alternatively, keep your camera settings, and see if there is a camera matching profile that matches them.

You can then set this profile to be applied automatically on import for images from this camera.

Nothing "disappeared." You are just seeing a difference between the JPEG preview and the RAW file. Just adjust your exposure.

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.
