Hi,

Is there a way to automatically apply/select the lens corrections options to remove chromatic aberration, profile corrections and the contrast/clarity settings when importing images into Lightroom Classic?

Thanks,

J

Two approaches:

1. In Develop, create a develop preset containing the desired settings. In the Import window's Apply During Import pane on the right, set Develop Settings to that preset.

2. In Develop, edit a photo containing exactly those desired settings and no others. Do Develop > Set Default Settings.

With an import develop preset, when you do Reset on a photo in Develop, the settings go back to their state before you applied the preset (e.g. 0 and no lens corrections).   But with Set Default Settiings, when you do Reset in Develop, the settings go back to these default settings.

Thanks, John!

Is there a way to set the preset by default? Or must I select it every time on import from the dropdown?

Import will remember your last setting, so normally you don't have to select it every time.
