I want to use iCloud drive as storage for my photos and not an external harddrive that can go broke or get lost/stolen and then all of my photos will get lost but I can't seem to finde the iCloude folders in Lightroom like if I store on an external. How do I get Lightroom to see the folder in the sky? no problem in uploading the photos and I can also work with them but the only way to find them i true all of the fotos that is importet in Lightroom and not by the folder they are located in.

what to do?

Lightroom Classic need to have the images locally. It cannot use a 'folder in the sky'.

Or use another cloud solution. Lightroom CC does what you want, but it uses the Adobe cloud, not iCloud.
