Lightroom classic cc won't open on Macbook Pro

Each time I try to open the app the loading screen appears for less than a second and then the app closes. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, restarting my computer, resetting preferences. Nothing will work. It worked just last week. The lightroom cc app will open but not the classic version. PLEASE HELP

      this is garage! I'm paying for something I TOTALLY CAN'T DOWNLOAD!!!!

      Talking with other 'users' here, so give us some details of your system and LR version you are trying to install, then someone may be able to give some advice.

      Lr-Classic: you do not "download"- you open the Creative Cloud Desktop App and choose [Install]. Is that what you are doing?

      And what exactly are you "paying" for- The Photography Plan with 20Gb, or something else?

      Have you tried, bringing up your Adobe Creative Cloud desktop app, sign out, then sign in?

      Now that was silly of me, forgot to ask is this the Creative cloud (subscription) LR Classic?

      Did you try uninstalling Lightroom and CC app?

      You can also run Cleaner Tool.

      Two things that people have tried that have been reported to work

      1. Create a new user account on your Mac and launch Lightroom from there
      2. Uninstall LR, use the Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool, then re-install

      Hi I uninstalled lightroom as i had the same problem. Now i can't reinstall it? I have to pay for it again. What can i do to get it back?

      You can download it again, you don't have to pay for it again.
