Lightroom Classic does not open and throws and exception since the last update

Hi,

I have a problem with the new Lightroom Classic update (and Lightroom as well).
Since updating to v15, when I try to open the program, it doesn't launch, but if I open the task manager, I see the process active and it consumes more and more memory until, a few minutes later, an exception message pops up with the following text: "Exception Processing Message 0xc0000005 - Unexpected parameters".
If I revert to the previous version, it works fine.
I tried uninstalling Creative Cloud and reinstalling it again, but the problem persists.

I do not see that you've installed the update 15.0.1 released earlier today.  Can you install that update using the Clean Install procedure and report back if you are still seeing the issue?

Clean Lightroom Install Procedure

Close Lightroom

Restart the computer

Use the Adobe Creative Cloud App to uninstall Lightroom

Restart the computer

Install Lightroom via the Creative Cloud App without launching any other programs.

Restart the computer

Launch Lightroom

Wait 5 minutes

I have done the uninstall and reinstall, per your information, twice.  I have both a laptop (Windows 11, just upated), and a PC (Windows 11, just updated).  I cannot get it to launch on either machine.  I get an error stating that it cannot find AI Edits, same on both machines.  I have never had a problem like this with any Adobe product, until now.  I've always disliked the way that catalogues work, especially with 2 machines.  Not sure where to go from here.  I have several hundred thousand photos, and a high percentage have been processed in Lightroom Classic, going way back, and many now with the AI edits as well.

I have followed the described steps and the program still won't open, although the error message is no longer appearing. The process is active, but the application does not open. If I wait, I see that it keeps consuming more memory (see Screenshot1 vs Screenshot2), but it still doesn't open.

I have tried opening the application from Creative Cloud and opening it directly and the result appears to be the same.

Have been using several years, but not seen something like this. It's just in increasing memory. Maybe should remove previos catalog and take older backup somehow. Maybe raleated to Window 10 Nowember update (ESU), but after removing it still the same issue.

Removed "AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Lightroom\Preferences" folder and issue disappeared. No idea why that didn't work and Light was not able to start.. Just need to tune some settings manually
