Lightroom Classic Files not found - Mac Monterey 12.4

Hi All,

I have recently updated my Imac to macOS Monterey 12.4 and I am now having issues with lightroom stating "file could not be found" on images that are currently on my Hard drive (RAW and processed versions) There is no symbol on the images in the library to indicate that they are actually missing (The exclamation mark etc), and the files in question remain physically on the hard drive, so no issue there.

Is this a known issue as I have lost a lot of older images which I am unable to develop.

Plenty of space on the hard drive

Have also tried transferring to another Hard Drive but to no avail.

Any help appreciated!

Hi Jonathan,

Thanks for reaching out. We are sorry for the trouble with Lightroom Classic.

Could you please share the version of Lightroom Classic you are working on from Help > About Lightroom Classic?

In the screenshot you shared, a notification suggests that you have recently upgraded the macOS to Monterey (v12.4& above).

Please check this thread and ensure Lightroom Classic is added under  Full Disk Access & Accessibility in the macOS preferences: https://community.adobe.com/t5/lightroom-classic-discussions/quick-tips-how-to-give-full-disk-access-to-lightroom-classic-on-macos/td-p/12913413
