Question

Lightroom Classic - folder structure discrepancy in Mac OS Finder

I have my photos set up on my Mac in the Macintosh HD | users | <my account> | Pictures | Photos_LR.

From there, I have five separate top-level groups:
Events

Home

People

Places

Sandbox

Each group has many subgroups / folders.

In Lightroom Classic (8.2.1), the Places and Sandbox folders display, with subfolders as expected. However, the Events, Home and People folders do not display in Lightroom. Instead, I see dozens of folders, those that I have set up during the import process. It's how I want it to be done, as I see in Finder, but not within my Lightroom Classic Library.

Any ideas or tips on how I can get Events, Home and People folders to display, as expected?

Right click on one of them and select Show Parent.
