Lightroom Classic Hangs & Monitor Flickers on Windows 10

I know this thread is dated but I was having a similar issue, wasn't reproduced soley by your criteria.  Mine was more simply GPU acceleration on was casuing the issue.  What fixed it for me was going into NVIDIA control panel, going to manage 3D settings > Program Settings > Adobe Photoshop Lightroom, and then changing:
Max Frame Rate - 120 (my monitor refresh rate in Windows and NVIDIA control panel)
Monitor Technology - G-SYNC

I restarted Lightroom Classic after changing those settings and it fixed the problem for me.

Hope this helps someone with a similar issue.

Let me respond to your question First, please forgive my terminology. Here is how to replicate the problem:

Develop an image (Develop Module)

Turn Solo Mode on for he righthand Develop Pannel (?)

Set Use Graphics Processor to Auto

Open the Basic Tab (?) in the righthand Develop Pannel

Then click on the Tone Curve Tab

The problem is manifest.

Thank you for your reply. It does not seem to be a GPU bug, with respect. As noted earlier, Ps, Camera Raw and all Topaz apps run without problems. I've also run some GPU diagnostics and performance tests since my last post. All come back without errors.

So far, Lightroom Classic is the only application that is failing with GPU accelleration turned on.

Also, to repeat, all drivers, SW etc. is up to date. The GPU is compatible. 

Please let me know if there are any tests you recommend.

Thank you for your reply. The LrC | Help | System Info... is attached. As mentioned in the original post, all available Windows updates are installed on the computer along with the latest Quadro drivers for the P2000 graphics card. Add devices were double checked this morning. 

I am running LrC with GPU acceleration disabled and it works fine. It still fails today with GPU acceleration set to Auto and Custom.  Lr and all Topaz products continue to work with out issue.
