Question

Lightroom Classic hard drive not showing sub folders

When I go to import files from an external hard drive, just on one of them when I click the arrow to get to sub folders, it shows none. When I click on include sub folders, I get lots of font images and Adobe stock images etc but not my folders. On every other hard drive attached to the computer, I don't have this problem. Any ideas?

Here is a screenshot. The HD in quesiton is RE 2017. The other HDs "Photos" and "Work SSD" are fine.

So, the disk in question is an external HDD, attached via USB to your main computer, and it does not show the folders that are on this HDD, right? This disk is a different disk from the other disks/folders,  (Work, Photos, etc,..), right?

Have you checked the read/write permissions?

It happened suddenly. One day it was fine then it wasn't. I had tried this before but last night I quit LR and opened it and now all is good... Who knows...

What kind of drive is this that 'Show subfolders' will show Adobe stock images and font images?

It's an 8TB Western Digital USB drive. I have no idea where all those images are coming from...
