Lightroom Classic Healing Spots

In Lightroom Classic I have undertaken some healing of the image. As you would expect when these have been completed and the healing tool switched off the locations are not visible in the image.

I made various other adjustments to the image including a white border. Having printed the image I found I needed to print a lighter version. Opening the image tonight there were various light grey spots/splodges where some of the healing had been undertaken. Mostly in the white border but a couple that bridged the image and the white border. I have never encountered such anomalies before.
I don't recall them being there before the image was sent for printing and they certainly don't appear on the image or the white border as printed.

Has anyone encountered this and been able to clean up the image as I don't want to lighten the image where I need to and have these spots/splodges on it!

I could go back the original image and re-add the border and see if this reoccurs, but I wonder if there is a better solution.

Thanks Kevin
