Can anyone please help..?
Lightroom Classic has suddenly stopped importing, it starts the process as if everything is normal, leaves the import dialog and goes back to Library module, but then the progress bar doesn't move, it freezes and no images are imported. Won't import from a memory card or from another catalog. Will not 'Add' a folder from another internal ssd. No thumbnails in Import dialog, just grey boxes. I did nothing to the PC between 'working' and 'not working' conditions. Everything else, such as Develop Module, appears to be functioning as normal.
Trouble shooting steps taken so far;
Installed latest GPU drivers
Reset preferences
Signed out of Adobe account and back in
Tried different camera memory cards
Checked card reader and tried different card readers.
Deleted previews.lrdata file
Moved entire catalog folder to a different internal ssd (380GB free space)
Uninstalled and reinstalled LRc
Opened in Safe Mode - same issue
Tried disabling GPU acceleration
Tried new catalog (I have about 240,000 images in the current master catalog, but the issue is still present with a brand new empty catalog)
Checked permissions settings on drives and folders (although I've been using these for quite a while previously without issue)
I had an Adobe tech on the remote service for well over 2 hours yesterday. He made all sorts of system settings tweaks on my PC. The last thing he did was perform a clean install of LRc. After restart I lost connection with the tech and the issue is still present.
I will be upgrading my PC later this year, then I can install the latest versions of certain Adobe apps including LRc, but in the meantime I'm stuck and I've hit a brick wall with possible solutions. Thank you for reading this.
Win 10 Pro 22H2 (OS build 19045.5917)
LRc 14.0.1
Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-3770K CPU @ 3.50GHz
ASUS P8Z77-V PRO
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050

As I see you've tried all usual steps to solve your issue.
One thing I would still try is to create a new user account. Sometimes issues are specific to your user account. Testing a clean user account can help to solve a lot of potential problems in one go. If you’re not sure how to create a clean user account, click here for more instructions: https://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/create-local-administrator-account-windows.html
If this doesn't help the last step seems to be a complete clean reinstallation of the whole system.
