Question

Lightroom Classic is not setting the correct PROFILE for iPhone 14 Pro RAW photos

Upon import of iPhone 14 Pro Max PRO RAW photos into Lightroom Classic, it is assigning the "Apple Embedded Colro Profile" and should be assigning the "Apple ProRaw" profile that is available.  The result of the wrong profile is that the Pro Raw photos are importing extremely dark.  Changing to the LR ProRaw profile corrects this issue.

App updates are starting to roll out today, which add support for iPhone 14 models with the new Adobe Camera Raw that's part of Lightroom.  Check the Creative Cloud app on desktop, or load the Lightroom app listing in mobile App Stores to see if the update is available yet for your device.

Is there a work around until or if we get the fix?

Support for the iPhone 14 model has not been released yet. Please see: https://helpx.adobe.com/camera-raw/kb/camera-raw-plug-supported-cameras.html

Understandable.   Manually changing the photo profile to the "Apple ProRAW" profile will correct the situation and should be an easy fix for Adobe in their next update.   Thnx!
