Lightroom Classic issues with astrophotography

I recently started taking photos of the night sky, especially the Milky Way.  Sunday night, me and another amateur photographer found a great spot with a small amount of light pollution and took many pictures of the Milky Way.  Monday morning, I imported my photos into Lightroom Classic and I noticed in all the photos that Jupiter was red as well as a few stars.  I was confused.  This had never happened before.  I imported the same pictures into Lightroom CC and Jupiter and the stars were not red.  I opened a few images in Photoshop as well and none showed Jupiter as a red blob.  I have not changed any setting in Lightroom and none of the images have been processed at all.  Is there anything I can do to alleviate this problem?  Any help would be appreciated.

In Lightroom Classic, in the Develop module, in the Histogram, are the clipped hilites and clipped shadows indicators enabled?

Thank you david. You are exactly correct. I solved this shortly after my first reply. I did click it yesterday and didn't realize that it would stay on after closing Lightroom out. Thanks again for everyone's help.

    Hi there,

We apologize for the issue you are facing with the preview of the images in Lightroom Classic.

Would you mind sharing the version of Lightroom Classic you are currently using by going to the Help menu > System info? Also, do you see the issue in a particular module or both the Develop and Library module?

You can try to disable the use of the Graphics processor from Lightroom Classic by going to Preferences > Performance, then quit and relaunch Lightroom Classic to the check if that helps.

    Regards,

    Nikunj

Nikunj, thank you for the response. I am using Lightroom Classic version: 8.4.1 on a Windows 10 PC. Additionally, in the Library module Jupiter appears as normal. I turned off the graphics processor as instructed but Jupiter is still red in Developer module.

Please provide camera model, file type, and specifcally what version of Lightroom CC isn't showing the issue. Screenshots of the Lightroom Classic Library and Develop module previews would also be helpful.
