Why can't I open photos in Lightroom Classic as layers in Photoshop anymore since the last update?

Your OS and the versions of Photoshop and Lightroom Classic you’re using
Whether this happens with all files or just certain ones
The type of files (JPEG, PNG, PSD, etc.)

Hello, my OS is Windows 11. The Lightroom Classic version is 14.5.1, and Photoshop is 26.10.
The problem occurs when I try to open photos with a RAW file (CR3) as layers in Photoshop. I've never had this problem before. Regards, Ger

@Gerritje ,As far as I am aware there has never been an option to edit a RAW images in PS as layers. You would need to use the Open as a Smart Object in Photoshop.

LrC does not work with Layers.
