Hi. I have a photo plan, PS works, LR works, but few day ago LRC stopped working. Nothing happens after I click the icon. Lightroom Classic remain as process but window does not appear. I tried to reinstall Creative Cloud, Lightroom Classic and I`ve cleared configuration files:

[...]\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Lightroom CC\Preferences

Any ideas? Please help

"Classic remains as process but window does not appear."

Sometime in the past (unknown), if Lightroom stayed in ram memory but was not visible to use, this procedure often helped.

You could try it also.

  1. Do a computer ‘cold’ reboot/re-start
  2. Open Lightroom-Classic  (it may not appear!  Your problem.)
  3. Open the Task Manager. (CTRL+ALT+DELETE > Task Manager,  or WindowsKey+X > T)
  4. Right-Click on the App- Adobe Lightroom Classic-
  5. Select the option "Go to details"- Note: If "Go to details" is not available-Choose [Expand] to see Adobe Lightroom Classic in a sub-listing.)
  6. Right-Click on "Lightroom.exe"
  7. Click on [Set Priority]
  8. Set the Priority to "High"
  9. Close Task Manager.
  10. Close all programs and Re-Boot the computer
  11. As you open Lightroom- Reset the Preferences by holding down [SHIFT+ALT].
Regards. My System: Windows-11, Lightroom-Classic 15.1.1, Photoshop 27.3.1, ACR 18.1.1, Lightroom 9.0, Lr-iOS 10.4.0, Bridge 16.0.2 .

Did LrC properly close the previous time you ran it?
If not, if it crashed, then the lock file  is still present, preventing you from opening LrC.
