Lightroom Classic - Previous Versions No Longer available?

Lightroom CC has disappeared from by MacBook Pro  (OS 10.13.6. (the highest this laptop can get to)).   I went to Creative Cloud/Lightroom Classic expecting to be able to download a previous version.  When I pull down the More button there is a Learn More tab - no previous versions are listed.  The page I go to says my system is incompatible.   How can I obtain Lightroom Classic 3.x ?

Here's the solution to my problem, which may work for others.  I had an old verson of LR Classic on my desktop.  I copied the application to a thumb drive then copied it into the Lightroom Classic folder in Applications folder.  It now works on my laptop.

If that didn't work I was going to use Time Machine and restore the computer to a time when LR Classic was functional.

Unfortunately, that process only works when previous versions are compatible with the operating system.

Things have changed since that article was published. Used to be that we had access to all previous versions back to CS6. In the last year or so, Adobe has substantially changed its policy and now only offers the current version and the last major version through the Cloud desktop app.

In this case, previous versions are  not compatible with macOS 10.13.6 so no earlier versions are available for installation.

That's what I was afraid of.  I'm going to either have to buy a new computer or see if I can use TimeMachine and somehow retrieve an earlier version of LR.

I'm not sure why they have "hidden" the older versions from users.  Sorry that I have old equipment but it worked fine with the version of LR I was using.  Now I can't use it at all unless I buy a new computer.

Adobe's product naming is extremely and needlessly confusing. If you're referring to the very old Lightroom 3 (from 2010), here's how to download 3.6 (the last update to 3).  Read the "Note Very Important Instructions" section on the prodesigntools.com pages; if you use the web.archive.org links, beware they can be very slow to respond, and you might have to click several times:

Also, I think the prodesigntools.com links are for 3.0, while the web.archive.org links are for 3.6.

There is no such thing as Lightroom Classic 3.x. It never existed. What exactly are you looking for?
