Lightroom Classic refuses to see nvidia Geforce GT520 graphics card
We updated to Windows 10 on 29 March. On 2 April we noticed a problem with Lightroom which we appeared to have solved by updating the drivers for the GT520 graphics card. However, there still appears to be a problem with moving images from Lightroom Classic to Photoshop. The Lightroom Develop module appears to be looking at the integrated Intel (r) HD card and not the GT520 graphics card. When we move the image to photoshop, the GT520 graphics card switches off so that Photoshop no longer sees it and no longer works correctly. If we close the image, then close and reopen Photoshop, it sees the GT520 graphics card again.
We have tried changing the settings in the Nvidia control panel to make the GT520 the preferred graphics processor in the global settings and also selected 'High performance Nvidia card' option as the preferred graphics processor for Lightroom. Neither of these worked. We also tried disabling the Intel graphics card, but Lightroom would not open at all with this disabled.
Is there anything else we can try short of buying a new computer?
