Lightroom Classic refuses to see nvidia Geforce GT520 graphics card

The computer is an Acer Aspire Touch All-in-One Z5801 desktop

So an All-in-1, which is to say, basically a laptop with touch screen, I suspect this rig uses a low power CPU, or whatever it is called, puts out less heat, takes less power, but trades that for performance, and you cannot increase the power settings.

On that rig, if applied, If allowed,  the fans will probably go into overdrive, even if not on battery only, you may get overheating, probably void warranty.

When you eventually replace the computer, avoid all-in-ones like the plague.

No matter what you do, you will not get advantage in LRC via use GPU.

As for PS, have you posted your issue in the PS community page? Many of us LRC users, only step into PS for small simple edits, then get right back out.

Looks like that GPU is so old that NVIDIA has not put out new drivers for years.

The GT520 GPU is very low performance and not likely to improve LR's performance. In LR Prefences> Performance tab set 'Use Graphics Processor' to OFF and see if that fixes the issue.
