Lightroom classic rendering previews with no detail in the blacks

Lightroom Classic is rendering previews with no detail in the blacks on my canon raw files (very contrasty). The same catalogue renders okay in Lightroom CC 2015.12. When processing the files they look the same but it is impossible to work on a file in Lightroom CC classic because there is no detail in the blacks.

I have attached a screen grab of previews from both versions of Lightroom. The top one is Lightroom CC 2015.12 and the bottom one is Lightroom CC Classic.

Any advice on how to fix this would be welcome.

Hi stephenr,

You may try turning off the GPU from the Lightroom preferences and check if that helps.

Preferences > Performance tab > uncheck the GPU > Restart Lightroom.
