Lightroom Classic: Stop Collection Sync

Made a dumb mistake tonight....

Using LR Classic and I accidentally clicked the Sync to Cloud box next to one of my collections with 12,000 photos in it.   I caught it relatively quickly and unchecked the box but LR had already queued these 12,000 images to sync to the cloud.  I paused the sync task but need to tell LR not to sync these images.  I suppose I could let LR sync the images and then delete them again but it will take days to complete the uploads sync given my internet speed.  Ideas?

Hi there,

You may pause the sync and unsync the images from the same option you started the sync.

If you let the images sync to the cloud and then want to selectively delete images, you can wait for the images to sync and can later delete collections, images individually. However, this method would be cumbersome and is not recommended.

Thanks,

Akash

Thanks for the response.   You'd think it would work that way but it does not.  Pausing and simply unsyncing the collection does not stop the sync task... It wants to finish what it started.

I ended up deleting all the cloud images and starting over.
