Prior to the last update I had no trouble importing raw files into Lightroom Classic. However, since the update, it no longer recognizes raw files. I have not changed cameras, so that's not the issue.
I uploaded vacation pictures from several different sources into one folder on my hard drive and then attempted to import those photos into Lightroom all at once. For some reason Lightroom thought all the .ARW files were duplicates. It did not have this issue with any of the other files. Anyway, I unchecked the box regarding duplicates and the files were imported. Can't explain it, but the problem has been solved.

What version number of LrC are you using? When you did the last update did you have to upgrade your Catalog file if so did that complete successfully?
When you try to import raw files do you get an error message if so post a screenshot of the message or type the exact word-for-word message?

I upgraded last Wednesday, 11/8, to 13.0.1. I did not have to do anything to the catalog. There is no error message. The files simply do not show up in the catalog after the import. I noticed that it is only the .ARW files that don't import. CR2 files import successfully as well as HEIC and JPG.

You're probably applying a filter to the view or are looking at the wrong folder. If files are not imported you will get an error message. It's also possible those files are already in the catalog so get skipped. Just search your catalog (in all Photographs) for them.

No filters and the files do not show up in a search. All .ARW files imported prior to the update are in the catalog but none of the .ARW files imported after the update appear.
