Lightroom Classic Windows 8.1

Hello everybody.
I have just bought an annual Abo for the LR Classic from Amazon and have also received the serial number.
The offer says that the system requirement is Win 8.
Now when I try to download LR Classic, I get a message saying that WIN 10 is required.
What is right now and what do I do now?

TBMK Lightroom-Classic is only available in a Photography Plan from Adobe.

I do not know what Amazon are selling- I can find only books.

Yes Lightroom-Classic v10.2 is not compatible with Windows-8.  ! Lightroom-CLASSIC System requirements 

Lightroom-Classic does not use or need a "Serial Number". Are you referring to a 'Redemption Code' that may give you a Creative Cloud subscription?
