Lightroom Classic won't launch -- crashes immediately after opening on macBook Pro M1 max 14 '

I just bought a MacBook Pro M1 Max and I can't get Lightroom Classic to start. When I try, the menu and presentation appear for a moment and then the program crashes. This only happens with Lightroom Classic, I also have Photoshop and Lightroom (not classic) and they both work without a problem. I have tried uninstall + reinstall, but always with the same result (everything except Lightroom Classic works). Can anyone help or has experienced something similar? Details below.

We’ve reviewed the email address you use with this forum and find no crash reports in our system.

 

Did you see a crash dialog?

Do you use a different email address when filling out the crash report?

Was the crash dialog Adobe’s?  Apple’s?
