Ich möchte einen neuen Katalog in Lightroom Classic erstellen. Wir reden von 178000 Fotos! Beim Start des Importiervorgangs werden 2 Vorgänge gestartet. Was ist Erstvorschauen werden abgerufen? Das ganze läuft nun schon 4 Tage/Nächte und ich bin erst bei 46%. Ist das Normal oder habe ich etwas falsch eingestellt?

Did you use 'Add' at the top center of the import dialog, or 'Copy'? If you used 'Copy', then all these images are copied to a new location, which obviously will slow down the process a lot. Importing that many images will also be very slow if you let Lightroom build previews for them, so the fastest method would have been to use 'Add' (so the images are only added to the catalog, and not copied or moved) and to use 'Embedded & sidecar' for previews (meaning Lightroom will use the previews that are embedded by the camera).
