Lightroom Classing 14.xx crashing too frequently

So in the last few months Lightroom has been crashing increasingly frequently on my Windows 11 system. I have tried everything that I could think of including reinstalling, cleaning up graphics drivers and reinstalling, moving cataolog to different disk, creating new catalogues, disabling GPU in Lightroom, Resetting Lightroom settings, but nothing worked.

Initially things started with LR crashing when importing relatively large number of images (from few hundred to few thousands) but lately they have very frequent, like crashing every few minutes.

The crashes happens

1. When lightroom has to build a number of thumbnails and previews. This is related to imports (though I have turned off preview generation) when thumbnails for imported images are generated, it also happnes when I navigate to a collection (smart or regular) where LR has to generate thumbnails from many folders on the disk.

2. Doing heavy edits.

3. Strangely even if I am doing nothing and Lightroom is just open with few hundred or thousand thumbnails in the selected folder/collection. it will quitely crash after several minutes of half hour or so.

Apparently there are two kind of crashes. One is where LR queitly crashes due to some software reason. The second is when multiple crashes cause an error in catalog and LR crashes due to that issue (it displays the message to that effect).

I have submitted crash reports whenever I had the option to do that. I saved system info in a file. It can be downloaded here.

System Info

Any help will be appreciated.

14.4 crashes every single time on me with "Add Mask", doesn't matter if GPU is enabled or not, or what photo it is, how much disk space is available. It's just unusable.

@KarlAustin

Please start a new thread, and describe your problem in detail. Include the information at Help->System Info. People will be happy to help in a new thread.

When I try to open your system info in DropBox, it doesn't open. Please just paste the system info into your reply, as text. We need the info down to and including the Plug-in information. We don't want and don't need and absolutely hate the information after Plug-ins.

You have talked consistently about LR, but this is the Lightroom Classic forum. Do you really have Lightroom Classic? If so, for clarity, please refer to your software as Lightroom Classic or LrC, and do not refer to your software as Lightroom nor as LR.

I have a couple of thoughts:

And a question: is it just LrC that crashes, or does the entire computer crash and have to be re-started?

Just submitted another crash report.
