Lightroom Develop Module not finding photos after upgrading iMac to Monterey

Thanks Rob. Your feedback was the kind I was hoping for when I posted to that other thread. I posted to that other thread because other people were complaining about a similar issue and I saw no resolution posted.

My Lightroom Develop module displays "The file could not be found" message for every image immediately after I upgraded my iMac to the Monterey OS. Everything worked fine prior to that.

All my files are where they were prior to upgrading the Mac OS and I can open any image file in "Finder" with no issues, just not in the Develop module of Lightroom

All my image files in Lightroom show in the "All Photographs" header under Catalog, but also under Catalog the same image count shows in the "Missing Photographs" header

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Lightroom 11.1

macOS Monterey

version 12.0.1

"the same image count shows in the "Missing Photographs" header."

Can you post a screen-clip of your whole screen showing a Grid view of thumbnail previews?

Also select the top-most 'parent' folder in the Folder panel, and screen-clip that panel.

(A picture is worth a thousand words!)

If Lightroom-Classic believes all your photos are "Missing" then the Catalog has lost its link to the photo files- and there are various reasons that you will need to investigate.

(Note: that the "Missing list" remains static until you 'run' [Find Missing Photos] from the menu.)

Lightroom-Classic does not know where the files in the Previews are located!

Note that ALL the folders on the selected Drive show a [?] indicating "Missing" FOLDERS and subsequently also Missing photos.

You MUST find the reason for the Missing Folders and relink them to the catalog database.

As per instructions in the link I gave above.
