contacted adobe support after receiving an error message of "file appears to be unsupported or damaged" in lightroom after editing an entire gallery soley in lightroom.
support member had me create a new catalog twice to try to rememdy the issue, this did not work.
the only solution was to have me redownload/import the photos from the original source (thankfully i had not formatted) and now I have to re-edit an entire gallery.
This issue needs to be addressed! What if this were a client of a wedding gallery? What am I to say? "Sorry all your photos have been lost" ?!
For reference, working on a mac mini and the camera used was a sony a7iii
