Lightroom freezes my mac when exporting files

Hello,

I have tried to export photo files to TIFF, and to another folder without converting and even tried to collect all videos to one folder.

So during the process Lightroom totally freeze my notebook. Funs are not running so everything totally stops only the hard reset helps.

When click to export Lightroom prepares files to export and freeze when export starts.

I di not have any issues with Lightroom till the latest update.

Please assist.

Fans not running. That is the problem. You need to fix this and the problem ought to go away.

I wish the solution is that simple. Pardon my english, but i tried to say that my notebook totally freeze even fun stop running. So it is not the reason but the consequence. They stop right after my notebook stop responding.

WHen a computer shuts down, the cause is always either a hardware malfunction somewhere, or a video driver that is bad/corrupted. Lightroom (and other software) cannot shut down a computer. Thus you need to check your hardware to see what the problem is. Overheating is a common cause of computers shutting down.
