I cannot get Lightroom CC to import any music (MP3, M4A, WAV) for a slideshow. I need help immediately, please and thank you.

I have tried restarting Lightroom and my computer. All of my apps are up to date.

    Hi cathyseaver,

    • Are you adding a mp3 file from iTunes? If so try removing the album art before importing.
    • If there were any protection rights on those music files, remove them or make a copy, like if the track was purchased online, it might not import.

Also, Please check out this article Error "Sequencer defunct" when using video file related functions and follow the offered solutions.

Let us know if that helps.

    Thanks,

Same problem here. In the past I could add music to my presentation in Lightroom without any problems. Just convert a video from Youtube to MP3 and save it on my computer. Import the MP3 into my presentation and it worked. But now it doesn't work anymore. Now I get the notification "The music file is not composed properly". Allready tried to lower the bitrate from the MP3 but that doesn't seem to help... Can anybody solve this problem? Thanks!
