Is Lightroom lagging for anyone else?  I've tried all the suggestions but nothing seems to help.  It just started doing this recently.  Super annoying

Lightroom Classic 12.5

The first thing I had noticed was when I would use my Mac's touchpad to scroll up and down through the LR editing tools it was slow and lagging.  But now any editing tool I use lags.

Have you tried using a mouse? Does the lag appear if you do that?

I have no issues with LrC lagging in any way on either my Win 11 PC nor my MacBookPro M1 Max. Have you tried these things to optimize LrC?

See my system info in my signature. Please post your system info which you can find under the help menu.

If you are working in a Windows environment, I believe I can help.
As background, I had absolutely ASTOUNDING lag issues last year, and they recurred this year in June. I have tried absolutely everything, posted in a load of forums, and have been on the phone and email with Adobe for I don't know how many hours. Today, whilst creating a boot disk in order to reinstall Windows, I popped into Windows System>Troubleshoot>Other Troubleshooters>Program Compatibility Troubleshooter.

In there, I found all my Adobe programs, and ran this troubleshooter on all of them.

Guess what?

It worked. All my Adobe stuff became incompatible with Windows in June.

Why Adobe doesn't know there are absolutely conflicts with Windows is beyond me. Seriously. I went as far as creating THREE C: drives on three new NVMes to test this last year. I was absolutely pulling my hair out after three 12-hour days editing a wedding.

PLEASE will you try this and let me know if it works?troubleshoot.jpgIncompatibility.jpg
