Lightroom menu freeze

After lightroom classic has started any menu that I click on freezes Lightrrom completely.

Has anyone any idea how to fix this please?

Finally after many months of this issue I have fixed it (fingers crossed)

In windows I have set lightroom to "Let Windows Decide" for the app performance settings

I have always had this set to High performance.

I have previously spent hours on call with tech suport, have reinstalled lightroom / cc / drivers dozens of times and nothing helped ...

So that is NVIDIA Driver v560.94., released 08/14/2024. At NVIDIA for the Studio Driver v565.90, released 10/15/2024, is shown. Note that a Game Ready driver 566.03 is also shown, avoid that like the plague (reportedly buggy) . Use your NVIDIA GeForce Experience app to update the drive, choosing Studio Drivers, and Custom install (to force a clean install)

Adapter 2 is probably tour Integrated Video Control that is part of your CPU (perhaps Intel UHD Graphics 770). Sometimes having that enabled in Windows Device manager can give LrC issues. See:

Adapter 3 is probably a MS Windows driver (Basic Render Driver) that exists in case no GPU driver is installed, and is probably not an issue.

I just posted the System info from LRC preferences and noticed the Windows OS is not Windows 8, it is Windows 10 Pro 64bit. Why does LRC think I am running a different OS?

I am having a simliar problem. After starting LRC 14.0.1, it will take over a minute to change modules. Same problem accessing preferences too. I have attached my System info.
