Lightroom mobile trial expired issue

I have CC Master and in my installation of Lightroom, it only tells "Lightroom Mobile Trial Expired". Same in iPad. "Your trial period has ended"

I installed it way back almost right away, when it was announced. I also posted a note on a forum about this, and the guy said this would be fixed well before trial was over.

I mean: come on! Someone already said that this is a thing Adobe is working on and that it should be resolved well before trial period is over. Well it is not!

Could you please fix this. I am fed up with all the crap I have been having with CC subscription. Not the first time I have had issues with it. Once I spent two hours with chat tech support trying to fix something that should have been just working.

Crappy, crappy, crappy work, Adobe. I am losing my faith here, and I am not alone.

I would like to add a feedback to Adobe and I hope that it would go somewhere from here. I guess I could always write a blog post as well, but I feel it is better to give it directly through here.

I am not HAPPY with that information about LR mobile not being part of EDU licencing, naturally. I have all the other CC services in my use and I really can´t understand why LR mobile can´t be used. I teach Digital Photography in my university and I imagine it would be a good thing from Adobe´s perspective if I could show the students how LR mobile & desktop could be combined. We are currently using LR in my courses anyway. Maybe that needs to be changed.

Also, I really didn´t have a proper chance to test out LR mobile as I was too bust at work. This also is a disappointment.

All these little issues that come up with Lightroom, version after version make me wonder if some other tool would be better suited for my purposes. It does not end here, however: Creative Cloud, and every other piece of software that comes out of Adobe seem to be providing more problems than solutions these days (I had to go through a hell of support chats when I got my last CC license renewal). I am sorry that the situation is like this.

Hello Dazman,

I phoned with them. My problem is different. I own lightroom 5.4 bought legally and photoshop 6 idem dito. Now I asked to buy mobile but they wont sell, they want me to suscribe CC cloud but why pay 12euros every month for something I own already! I tried to reason with the person on the phone, but no way. I think a lot of people have my problem.

Margaret, Mobile is only available to CC subscribers because it needs the cloud as the mechanism for syncing between Lightroom and Lightroom Mobile.

Maybe they could say it more  explicitly, but the necessity of CC membership is pretty clearly implied (several times) by this page:

That is not true Keith. If it is like you say I could not have the trial version and I had it during a month without any problem!

Hi artists,

my name is aaditya and i m running my photography studio, using master collection cs6 and Lightroom, first time i came acress with Lightroom mobile and i thought it will work good,

Tho in just one week my id expired and i have no clue why, will some one please help me, application shows msg that ur id has been expired, it was trial period and make another id to use it. How come its trial when i m using brand new Lightroom cc full version? Do i have to pay extra for ipad????

i just wanna know does it work properly on ipad or its all buggy and crap beta version, i cant have bug version if i cant use it for professional studio work.

please please help me out here

- Creative Cloud Photography plan

Creative Cloud memberships purchased from third-party (Kivuto), do not provide access to Creative Cloud services, including Lightroom mobile.

My membership is not from Kivuto - the access is provided by an enterprise agreement with my employer Education Queensland to allow use of programs for teaching and work related activities.

Checking my membership it was a 12 months full Creative cloud access expiring August 2015 - I have access to and use of full suite - only light room mobile is problematic.

Any suggestions?

Hi. Are you referring to the Lr desktop application or the Lr Mobile service. I've just checked the back-end of your account and the subscription status is correct listed.

Did you install Lightroom Dektop from the CC application manager, or did you install it from a downloaded installer?

I installed via CD download.

I have two ID's 😞 and i think that is the problem.

LR is using a gmail ID

while CC is using ozemail

Not sure which you see back-end. Happy to pvt message me and I can send screen shots.
