I have CC Master and in my installation of Lightroom, it only tells "Lightroom Mobile Trial Expired". Same in iPad. "Your trial period has ended"
I installed it way back almost right away, when it was announced. I also posted a note on a forum about this, and the guy said this would be fixed well before trial was over.
I mean: come on! Someone already said that this is a thing Adobe is working on and that it should be resolved well before trial period is over. Well it is not!
Could you please fix this. I am fed up with all the crap I have been having with CC subscription. Not the first time I have had issues with it. Once I spent two hours with chat tech support trying to fix something that should have been just working.
Crappy, crappy, crappy work, Adobe. I am losing my faith here, and I am not alone.
Hi Dazman,
please read this article here http://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom/kb/lightroom-mobile-available-education-memberships.html You purchased a subscription that specifically does not include Services such as Lightroom mobile. - Guido

Please contact your University IT department. Creative Cloud memberships purchased from third-party (e.g. Kivuto), do not provide access to Creative Cloud services, including Lightroom mobile.

Hi @greule,
The post you referenced in the KB contradicts the FAQ on Lightroom Mobile. The FAQ stated pretty clearly that Lightroom Mobile is included with Creative Cloud Student and Teacher Edition. Also, the "solution" offered in the KB article is not possible. I tried to add the CC Photography plan, but received the message: "You're already subscribed to the Creative Cloud Student and Teacher edition (one-year). See your plan details. If you'd like to purchase another copy of the same product, you'll need to do so with a different Adobe ID."

FAQ: https://helpx.adobe.com/mobile-apps/help/lightroom-mobile-faq.html
Maybe just link out to the KB from the FAQ? Not sure why Lightroom Mobile is excluded only from Kivuto-based CC Student and Teacher Edition purchases.

I am in the same boat, I thought my Teacher Student Adobe Cloud account covered lightroom mobile (did not purchase from Kivuto) but it still shows a trial expired. Also, when I try to buy it, ti says I already bought its and I must use a different account (leaving me no access to the rest of the adobe apps I already purchased, since I am being forced to buy a photography bundle with a different id)
This is truly confusing, I hope they straighten it out.
greule, I posted above, hopefully you can clarify and help if possible, please let me know either way! 🙂

Hi greule, one more question on the
I noticed that Lightroom 2015 doesn't update to 6.1, it seems that this subscription also doesn't include Lightroom CC (which I thought it did) it stays at 6.0. But previously it updated from 5.0 to CC 2014, it just doesn't updated to 2015. Is the subscription also limited this way?

When you have Lightroom CC (6.0) running within your subscription I would say that you should be able to update. Have you tried to re-start (or re-sign-in) to the CreateiveCloud app?

Same problem: Lightroom mobile trial version expired.
My subscription is through University, but in my Account it shows that I should be able to use the mobile app.
Downloaded Lightroom throught the Adobe CC desktop app.
Signed out and in. Reinstalled. Nothing helps.
Is there a solution?

Thank you for your reply.
I already read those articles.
The thing is, when I check my Account on my subscription page it states that I have access to all desktop and mobile apps.
Sorry, it is in Dutch.
Hope you can explain this.
With kind regards.

Hi Helen. Did I get it right that you have a single-app Photoshop subscription running? Just asking since the Lr Mobile service is not part of a single-app subscription. - Guido

That is only for Kivuto, what about those of us who purchased through Amazon where it says mobile is included? We need help with this and no one will step up and get it fixed there are dozens of requests not even being answered on the Forums and the CS will not speak to us? Epic Adobe CS failure and it is sad this company can be so dismissive of its future users. I just sent messages to every executive I could find on LinkedIn and to anyone I could find that has written about Adobe. lets see if that creates any help?

Trial mode means you’re license isn’t current or isn't being detected as current. This could be because you’re signed out of CC, or because your subscription has ended, or because some is wrong with the licensing detection on your computer. Try the solutions listed here:

You nailed it! It seems I was logging in using an older Adobe ID and it was the new one under which I have my CC subscription. Thank you for the answer but especially for the prompt answer! My first time using Adobe communities...thanks for making it great!

I still wonder why a lot of us can't access LR mobile becasue of some third party agreement apparently. I have the same issue which coast me a couple of hours though Aboe Help this week. Nobody knew what the problem was.
In the end I pay the same amount as direcly though Adobe? Since you do give access to LR mobile via the student & Teacher edition the website states???

Yeah I spent a just over an hour with them as well on Live Chat this week and probably longer a few weeks back on the issue. Hopefully phone-based support is better. Every support person I chatted with was just looking for a way to pass me off to someone else. It was pretty surreal.

I have come to conclusion that the whole thing with Adobe ID and CC is one big cluster***, a mess. I have CC on my home laptop and enterprise at work. It seems I am not able to install the new Lightroom to my office laptop (we DO have license for Enterprise level CC) because it is tied to CC and can´t be launched without signing into CC.
What a mess, what a big mess.
